It is our hope that this painting evokes in every person the many feelings we all have with relation to Reb Shlomo Carlebach Zy"a, the singing rabbi who warmed many hearts, both Jewish and non Jewish. This multilevel portrait touches on his connection to G-d through prayer and song, love of the people and land of Israel as depicted on each side, on one his music, and on the other the Great Wailing Wall.
His message of love, harmony, and tolerance was universal and he brought his holy brothers and sisters a little closer to our Father in Heaven through his timeless tunes and heartwarming melodies.
