As its name implies, this painting depicts school yard Jewish children from all walks of life who, upon discovering a new object of interest, are intrigued by its simplicity and mystery. The Shofar or ram’s horn represents an artifact that traces back to the very beginnings of our history. The modern day children set aside the colourful plastic but meaningless toys and seek to discover that article which holds great meaning.
